Morning Apple Pie

  • 4 cups egg whites

  • 1 apple (thinly sliced) - I use Granny Smith 

  • 1 tbsp raw honey

  • 1/4 cup walnuts (crushed)

  • 1/8 cup raisins

  • 1 tsp cinnamon (or to taste)


  1. Slice apples, crush walnuts and add to a container with honey, cinnamon and raisins.  Shake until apples are completely coated with all ingredients

  2. In a medium frying pan cook above ingredients, on medium heat, until apples are soft (approximately 3 minutes)

  3. Once cooked, evenly distribute mixture in pan and add egg whites

  4. Reduce heat to minimum, cover and let cook until eggs are done (approximately 15 minutes)
