Positive Thinking

"Rule your mind or it will rule you."

~ Buddha

Positive thinking plays a major role in how healthy you truly are!

View your mind as a super computer.  Everything you experience as you grow, negative or positive, is "downloaded" in your mind and becomes embedded in your subconscious for future reference.  The problem is, most people reference the negative.

Have you ever been out and noticed someone looking your way and laughing?  For a moment, did you think they were laughing at you?

This thought is coming from information that was "downloaded", at some point in your life, and stored in your subconscious.
A negative experience is stored in your subconscious in one of three ways.

  • I am not worthy

  • If I try, I will fail

  • No one will want me

The above is an example of the subconscious saying “no one will want me.”
In order to live a life of positivity and prosperity,  you must replace your negative subconscious with a positive one.

Self Test

Take a moment today, look in the mirror and say something that you seriously

love about yourself to yourself in the third person. Ensure to say it aloud while

looking into your own eyes.

Examples:

  • "I love your intelligence."

  • "I love that you are a great person."

  • "I love the fact that you have beautiful eyes."

Can you do it?

Many people struggle with, what seems to be, this easy task.  As human beings the person we are most comfortable with is ourselves.  Everyone has something that they do only when they are alone and would never choose to do in public.  This is not a bad thing, this is part of being human.

So, if this is the case why do many people struggle with telling themselves what they love about themselves when they are completely alone?  There is no one around to judge them or laugh at them... right?

Well, there is one person there to judge them or laugh at them.  Their biggest and harshest critic... themselves.

If this is you, you are NOT alone.  Your subconcious is trying to tell you that there is a part of you that needs healing.

The good news is, it can be healed.

Start Being Positive

The next time you think something negative about yourself or others, ask yourself if your thought is a fact.

Negative thought about yourself
"I will never have a lot of money because I am meant to struggle."
My question to you is, who said you are meant to struggle?
Is this a fact?  No, it is not.  It is your internal thoughts that keep you from obtaining what you really want in life.

Negative thought about others
"That driver is a complete idiot!"

Ask yourself if it is a fact that they are purposely driving to upset you.  The truth is, it is not a fact.  You don’t know what is going on in their lives at that moment they chose to drive in that manner.

Steps To Living A Positive & Abundant Life

  • Start thinking positive; get rid of all the garbage you believe to be true about yourself and others

  • Practice deep breathing

  • Practice selfcare by doing something you love daily

  • Have and say a personal mantra; "I am worthy of true happiness", "I am loved by many", "Choosing to change makes me strong, not weak"

  • Meditate, even if it is for a minute or two a day; if you have a hard time quieting your thoughts, concentrate on a breathing technique or repeat your mantra.

Once you start thinking more positive you must truly feel what you are thinking.  Thinking you are worthy and feeling you are worthy are two different things.  This process does not happen overnight.  It takes time but it is well worth the effort.
